There are 4 elections for Ward Council Members in Wards 1, 3, 5 and 6. There are two separate elections for At large Council Members, one at large and one special election. There is also an election for the Chair of the DC Council. Below are the Public Education Questionnaires that we received back. Thank you to the candidates who took the time and care to fill them out and to let the public know their stands on these important issues

We will elect two at large members for the Council, one to replace Anita Bonds who is not running this time. We sent invitations to all who are on the DC Board of Elections page. We did not receive a replay from: Kevin Chavous, Dwight Davis, Fred Hill, Joe Jackson, Leniqua dominique Jenkins, Candace Tiana Nelson

There will be a special election to replace Kenyon McDuffie as an At Large member. This term will last til the end of the year and it has to be held by someone who is not a Democrat. There will be an election for the person to hold this position for the next four years in November. A questionnaire was sent to everyone who is registered for this election. We did not hear back from: Doni Crawford, Senay Emmanuel, Khalil Lee, Cynthia Phillips, Ryan Prince, Liz Reddick, and Addison Sarter.

There will be elections in Wards 1, 3, 5 and 6. We went questionnaires to everyone registered to run. In Ward 1, we did not receive anything back from Jackie Reyes Yarnes or Miquel Trindade Derano. In Ward 3 we did not receive anything from Adam Prinzo . In Ward 5 we did not receive anything from Bernita Carmichael. In Ward 6 we did not receive anything from Marquell Merlin Washington.

There are 4 people running for Council Chair. Calvin Gurley did not submit a questionnaire.
