DC Council Chair
DC Council Members in Wards 1,3,5 and 6
At Large Council Member

There will be a special election to replace CM Kenyan McDuffie, who resigned to run for Mayor. This position is held by a non-Democrat and is not part of a primary. The person will serve through the end of this year. This second At large Council member will be on the ballot in November to serve a term starting in 2027.
